Took the family to Suraj Garh Farm last weekend for a quick escape from Delhi NCR and it genuinely delivered exactly what we needed — no traffic anxiety, no over-planned itinerary, just open fields and a slower pace for a day. The kids were all over the bullock cart rides and got a kick out of the pottery activity, and the evening cultural performance with the bonfire ended up being the highlight for all of us, adults included. Food was simple, home-style Rajasthani thali stuff rather than a big multi-cuisine spread, which honestly fit the whole vibe better than a fancier menu would have.
It's not a luxury resort experience by any stretch, and I don't think it's trying to be — that's kind of the appeal. If you're going on a weekend, I'd say get there earlier in the day since it does fill up, and weekdays are apparently much quieter if you have that flexibility.
