Electronic authorisation for entry into Myanmar is handled entirely online. Two categories are available: one for tourism that permits a stay of up to 28 days, and one for business that allows up to 70 days when a company invitation is supplied. Both are single-entry and the approval letter remains valid for 90 days from the issue date. Applicants need a passport valid for at least six months and a recent digital photograph. Myanmar eVisa is restricted to nationals of eligible countries. Arrival is limited to designated international airports and selected land borders. Processing normally takes three working days after successful submission.
