We have a leather sofa, a velvet armchair and a dark wood console in one room, and the curtain fabric choice is giving me a headache. I think a soft, matte linen blend would sit well beside the leather and contrast with the velvet, but I’m not sure about sheen and colour. I’d also add window blinds for the sun, since the velvet is near the window and I don’t want it fading. Does that logic hold up? Kingdom of Curtains has a display at JMD Regent Arcade Mall on MG Road, Gurgaon, so I plan to hold samples against the furniture there. Any advice on mixing these textures would help.
