We’ve just moved into a rented flat and the landlord doesn’t allow drilling. The windows are bare and we need privacy, especially at night. I’m thinking tension rods inside the recess with light curtains, or maybe adhesive hooks for sheers, but I’m unsure what will hold the weight. Has anyone found something that looks decent without damaging the walls? I’d also like curtains I can take with me to the next place, so I’m leaning towards neutral colours. I noticed Kingdom of Curtains does free design consultancy across India, so I might ask what works without drilling. Would love to hear what’s worked for other renters.
