Our flat has thick walls, so every window sits in a deep recess, about fifteen centimetres. I can’t decide between fitting blinds inside or hanging curtains outside on a wider track. I like the idea of a blind inside with curtains over it, but I’m not sure how much light I’d lose or whether the track will clear the sill where I keep plants. Has anyone measured a recess like this? I’ve heard it’s worth measuring depth at the top, middle and bottom. Kingdom of Curtains does free doorstep measurement and consultation across Delhi NCR, so I may get them to check on site. Any advice would help.
